We consider this treatment to be the penicillin of treatments, as it treats over 40 different ailments. From edema (in most of its forms) to migraines, auto-immune, cystic acne, sinusitis, diabetes, pre and post surgical procedures, c-sections, present and post cancer treatments, rosacea, Bell's Palsy, concussions, Dimentia, Alzheimer's, burns and scarring and a litany of other issues.
Unlike traditional massage, MLD is a gentle, non-invasive, light pressure that moves the skin. Lymph has no pump and therefore, moves very slowly, even when healthy. The goal of MLD is to increase the speed of lymph flow, thereby creating healthy lymphocytes and removing metabolic waste, excess water and proteins, fat and cellular debris.

Neuro-Muscular Therapy (NMT)

This is a targeted, muscle specific modality that focuses on muscle groups, as opposed to the entire body. The muscles are treated from origin to insertion and addresses trigger points (radiating pain), adhesions, soft tissue restrictions and other such dis-ease as whiplash, plantar fasciitis, sciatic issues, range of motion and a host of other soft tissue concerns.
Deep Tissue Massage

Similar to the Integrated, but with more intensity, this modality is for those tougher areas. It utilizes a deeper pressure for that chronic tightness and discomfort and will encourage that musculoskeletal release.
Integrative Therapeutic Massage

Here at Willow Wellness, we believe that a massage can be both relaxing AND therapeutic, at the same time. This session is our version of Swedish, but way better! This session incorporates a few different modalities to reduce stress, tension, soreness and tightness. Additional benefits are increased range of motion, decreased pain/discomfort and better sleep.
Myofascial Release

If you break the word down......myo is muscle; fascia is the soft tissue covering the muscle. If the fascia is tight, the muscle it covers is also tight. This safe, effective and gentle application of sustained pressure releases restrictions to eliminate pain and restore movement. MFR promotes independence through education in proper body mechanics and movement, enhanced strength, improved flexibility and postural and movement awareness.
Pre-Natal Massage

Pre-Natal massage is a firm, but gentle and therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the Mommy-To-Be, as her body transitions through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances muscle and joint function; improves circulation and general body tone; relieves mental and physical fatigue; assists in remedying many of the common discomforts experienced during pregnancy; muscular discomforts, lower-back pain, upper-back pain, headaches, leg cramps, Sciatica, stiffness, tension headaches, fatigue, neck pain, sacroiliac and hip joint pain. Cupping

Reflexology

Reiki Massage

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, a subset of alternative medicine.
